I’m a video editor and director with over 20 years of experience, primarily in sports. I began my career as an Edit Assistant at Granada Men & Motors in Manchester. Over time, I transitioned to editing high-profile entertainment shows like Britannia High, Animals Do the Funniest Things, and You've Been Framed. In 2008, I worked as the main VT editor with Peter Kay on Britain's Got the Pop Factor... and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice.
In 2011, when BBC Sport moved to Media City in Salford, I was one of the few Northern editors to join the department. Over the next 12 years, I edited the Olympics (London, Rio, Tokyo, Paris), World Cups (Brazil, Russia, Qatar), and iconic shows like Match of the Day. I’ve also edited Formula 1 for Channel 4 and directed and produced features for World Athletics and BBC Sport. Other notable projects include working with Vic and Bob on House of Fools and collaborating with Peter Kay on his documentary, Twenty Years of Funny.
